Take Notes like an Engineer
When designing, recording requirements, inventing something, or developing a new workflow, start with a drawing.
Creative, logical thinkers get ideas from brain to concept by writing them down.
Formal designs can be digitized later, but when thoughts are fresh it is more natural for me to put pen to paper.
Your best Engineering work comes with directed purpose. Leonardo da Vinci's notebooks inspired engineers and showed his attention to detail. These Engineering Notebooks will help you with your best designs.
Don't lose million dollar ideas to your memory.

What are you thinking of designing?
I read through some of Leonardo da Vinci's Notebooks and they were super inspiring. Just imagine more than 400 years ago and any formal "Engineering" there is someone designing and breaking things down to details we can only see in modern times.
That's when I realized how taking notes can spark engineering inspiration and in my mad rush to find the perfect note taking app or software suite remembered not to devalue pen to paper notes. So naturally I begin to come up with ideas for how I would want a notebook layout to look like.
Looking at some of my best engineering designs they were always framed nicely, had some details, revisions, date and my name verifying the work and thought, "wouldn't it be neat to have my sketches framed up like that?"
Another part of the equation was the covers that looked cool but clean so I created the Technical Engineering Notebooks. As you can tell I enjoy delving into the history of engineering and upon reading many quotes from the engineering greats realized I wanted to make the best engineering notebook for motivation so stitched up some favorites and made it available for everyone to buy a copy.
Don't worry I have an easy way to determine if an engineering quotes notebook is for you but if there is something you can think of that you'd like to see in these books, feel free to reach out and let me know.
If you do get one let us know, I'd love to give a shout out on social.
